Surfboards are about concentration, intuitive channelling and the obvious skill and learning required to work them all together. Its a kind of mind, body, spirit expression to make one that really works. Stuart has been making foam sculptures for surf interested people since the early 80's and has worked on all aspects of the process from start to finish. Stuart has shaped, glassed, sanded and painted literally thousands of boards. The process is automated in some ways and at other times there is and understanding and a knowing that only comes with many years of experience. He has the eyes that see and hands that know.
